A ski boat (rental) and the lodge canoe and paddle boat lie at your door step, protected by the private boat and swim cove.

Have the run of this beautiful, spacious, nine-bedroom lakefront lodge for your company meeting or retreat, golf outing, weekend wedding, or week-long gathering.

Outside photos of the lodge fail to capture its large size inside. The Great Room alone (large picture windows on left) once sat 100 people for dinner at the turn of the century.

The Lodge at Jamaica Point sits on the most panoramic site in Maine's entire Belgrade Lakes chain.  It rests at the tip of Jamaica Point on Great Pond – the largest of the Belgrade Lakes and the lake which playwright, Ernest Thompson, wrote about in "On Golden Pond." (During your stay, you will see and hear the loons and have your morning paper delivered by the mail boat during summer months.)

Do not be misled by the term "pond."  Great Pond is a deep and large lake, about seven miles long and four miles wide – superb for boating, water skiing, tubing, canoeing, swimming and fishing.

Some of the tallest pines in Maine shroud Jamaica Point Lodge.

Two of three calming lakeside hammocks dare guests to read books while trying to stay awake from  whoosh of water, swaying of pine branches high above heads, and call of the loons.
Take a morning canoe or paddle boat ride around Chute Island, behind Jamaican flag.
