Throughout
the summer, Jamaica Point Lodge rents weeks to groups of family
and friends, often dispersed across the country, if not world.
Most of these groups return year after year, having the complete
run of the lodge to themselves. The turn-of-the-century
home is not run as a bed and breakfast. It is large
enough to spend time with friends and relatives without being
“on top of” each other, guests report.

What unusual touch will you provide for your reunion - soon to become an annual event?

Owning
the property since 1986, Steven Feldman and wife Beth Davis
who were married at the lodge themselves are
now in their second-generation of renters. Children
who once vacationed with their parents at Jamaica Point are
now renting the lodge themselves with their mothers and fathers
now serving as grandparents as well. “It’s
my favorite place on earth to spend time with my grandchildren,”
said long-time guest Cindy Arn of Syracuse. “Jamaica
Point Lodge is a tradition that I hope will get passed on
in our family for generations to come.”
The
lodge accommodates groups of eight to 20.

Many guests say their children
count the days and hours until their return to the lodge, noting
how their kids’ lives are being shaped, in part, by their
time and memories “growing up at Jamaica Point.”
