Lodge features and furnishing

Common for its era, the lodge features stone fireplaces, handsome beaded-wood paneling, exposed beams, and a wide staircase leading to the upstairs bedrooms.  An all-night wood stove and cast-iron gas stove heat the Great Room.  (At the turn of the century this room served meals for 100 people.)   A handsome gas fireplace heats the large living room.

The lodge is tastefully furnished with lace curtains, quilts, period furniture and comfortable sitting areas throughout.  Modern amenities include Satellite TV and Tivo, stereos, and a separate dial-up computer line with free ISP service.
